The Lone
Star. It has clean peghead lines, a
Dobson style heel and a frailing scoop. Like the others it has a
laminated neck with colored veneers running up each side of
the center strip, for strength, but without laminations under the peghead
and fingerboard. The neck is Walnut. It has a
25.5” scale, and a double action truss-rod. The Scalloped Bone nut measures 1 3/8th".
Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard and peghead overlay.
No inlays
on the peghead and one Lone Star at the 5th fret.
It has an integral wooden tone ring on a 11”
three-ply
rim, 5-star tuning pegs with cream knobs. Pearl side dots, a no-knot
tailpiece and a Renaissance Head.
