Testimonial
Well, I have had a little time with Ovilla #22, and.....What a great banjo. My wife really likes it too, although she commented
that I now look like that stereotypical mindless banjo player with the
goofy grin (sigh).
The inlay looks great. The "in-motion" star dances on the fifth fret
and fits well with the headstock inlay. Good job, Chuck. And, yes, I like
your creativity.
I talked with Dan Levenson and he admitted that he wanted #22 and
was a little disappointed that he didn't get it. I agree with him that
this one is special, and a keeper. There are some instruments that take
what the player does and turns it into something bigger. This is one of
those. A musical companion, rather than an instrument.
