Banjo 030  ~ Elderly Instruments ~

The Lone Star Deluxe.  It has clean peghead lines, a Dobson style heel and a frailing scoop.  It has a laminated Cherry neck with Black/Mahogany veneers running up each side of the center strip, but without laminations under the peghead and fingerboard. It has a 25.5” scale, and a double action truss-rod.  The Scalloped bone nut measures 1 3/8th".  Ebony fingerboard and peghead overlay.  No inlays on the peghead and one Lone Star at the 5th fret.  It has a 12" three ply maple rim, 1/2" thick, 5-star tuning pegs with black knobs. Gold Pearl side dots, a no-knot tailpiece and a Renaissance Head.
